Meet Frank
Frank is a client at TEST Sports Club. He is someone that struggles with a healthy lifestyle and has a history of being a negative customer towards the staff in regards to his training.

I was assigned the opportunity to work with Frank to overcome these battles of negativity that he struggles with, while finding a way to create an environment that would keep him coming back.

The reason you are meeting Frank, is to give me the chance to showcase my skills learned during this internship at TEST. Also, to show the reason of why I do what I do.
Soft Skills
PROBLEM SOLVING
I learned that just enough isn't enough. I described in another section why that shaped by experience, but let me share how. I noticed many deficiencies in key operations of the facility. Things such as social media coverage, data recording, among other issues. Rather than allowing them to continue in this way, I created methods of efficiency and developed tools in order to operate in a smoother manner. I realized that just enough wasn't enough, so I took it upon myself to go the extra mile, be a problem solver, and give them a lasting method that will allow for ease in the future.
PASSIONATE
I believe that I am motivating, caring, charismatic, enthusiastic, driven, among other synonyms. However, I felt as if passionate was the one word to encompass all of these attributes into one. In the video above, you can see that skill being put to work. You can see my drive to help others and to give them the kind of environment that I love to be in. I relate this to stepping out of my comfort zone. I was told I had to "find my coaching voice", and that I had to step up and give these clients my best. I am my best when I am passionate, and I am passionate about anything in this field.
DEPENDABLE
I like to say that I am a "yes person". What does that mean exactly? It means that I will say yes to whatever is asks of me. If I am capable, perfect. If I am not, I will say yes and work tirelessly until I am. I aim to please and to be the one that anybody can turn to, fully trusting that I can get it done. I feel as if this relates to the idea of finding opportunity for yourself. I will knock down doors in the quest to be the most dependable employee and person that I can be. I know this quality was only strengthened in this internship due to my ability to always go the extra mile, and will prove to be valuable every single day of my career.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
One of the projects that I elected to take on was running and operating the social media for TEST Football Academy. I was trusted with this project due to my immense background knowledge of social media and how to operate tools on sites like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat.
Having a history of being on multiple social media teams for many different organizations, the facility trusted me to take on this role. The goal was to reach maximum interactions of customers and gain followers. With my direction, I was able to gain more than 500 followers for TEST Football Academy in the short few weeks that I was there.

DATABASE MANAGEMENT
My organizational skills are one of my better qualities. Knowing this, I also took on the role to implement an efficient system for database management. TEST Football struggled with data collection and records. I used my organizational skills to create a new system for database management to be implemented on "testing days". Athletes are tested in multiple fields and then this data is recorded and logged. After each testing day, new information is uploaded and coincided with previous records. My system included aspects from efficient data collection using my spreadsheets and station system, and then uploaded efficiently through a combined team effort of the interns to guarantee proper database collection. All headed by myself.
BUSINESS WRITING
As I continue to grow in this field and this major, I find strength in my ability to write. I have written multiple business papers in my time as a Rutgers student and it has not stopped there. I was required to write multiple documents in accordance to the 2020 Combine class at TEST Football Academy. There is a section in this website where many of my projects, papers, and proposals are displayed. I find strength in my ability to research and make the appropriate connections in order to convince and educate anybody who may read a paper of mine. Business writing is a niche and I am proud to use it both academically and in the work place in order to produce advancements for the topics.
